CITY OF LAKEVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />December 17, 2018 <br />Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City <br />Hall. After a moment of silence, the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was given. <br />Members Present: Council Members Davis, Wheeler, Hellier, LaBeau and Mayor Anderson <br />Staff Present: Justin Miller, City Administrator; Andrea McDowell Poehler, City Attorney; <br />Jeff Long, Police Chief; Neil Normandin, Interim Public Works Director; David Olson, <br />Community & Economic Development Director; Jerilyn Erickson, Finance Director; John <br />Hennen, Parks & Recreation Director; Daryl Morey, Planning Director; Charlene Friedges, <br />City Clerk. <br />3. Citizen Comments: None <br />4. Additional Agenda Information: Mr. Miller presented revised information for Item 6x. <br />S. Presentation sllntroductions: <br />Mayor Anderson presented plaques to Council Member Colleen LaBeau and Council <br />Member Bart Davis in recognition of their service to the City of Lakeville. <br />Chief Meyer recognized the following firefighters who have successfully completed their <br />two-year probationary period: Aaron Berg, Skylar McCoy, Tom Ness, Joel Small, Steve <br />Eilers, Gabriel Martinez and Collin Hagen. <br />Chief Long recognized Detective Kelli Coughlin who was recently named Minnesota Sex <br />Crimes Investigator of the Year. He then presented plaques to the following police <br />reserves who are retiring on December 31,2018: Jerry Wilson, Heidi Krane, Deb Starkman <br />and Susan Tvedt. <br />HOBO Incorporated was featured as the Spotlight on Business. Mr. Olson presented a <br />video recording highlighting the business, and he introduced company owners Ken and <br />Karen Wentworth. <br />6. Consent Agenda <br />Motion was made by LaBeau, seconded by Davis, to approve the following: <br />a. Check register review <br />b. Minutes of the December 3, 2018 City Council meeting <br />
