CITY OF LAKEVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />February 4, 2019 <br />Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City <br />Hall. After a moment of silence, the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was given. <br />Members Present: Mayor Anderson, Council Members Volk, Wheeler, Hellier and Lee <br />Staff Present: Justin Miller, City Administrator; Andrea McDowell-Poehler, City Attorney; <br />Jeff Long, Police Chief, Neil Normandin, Interim Public Works Director; David Olson, <br />Community & Economic Development Director; Jerilyn Erickson, Finance Director; John <br />Hennen, Parks & Recreation Director, Daryl Morey, Planning Director, Allyn Kuennen, <br />Assistant City Administrator; Charlene Friedges, City Clerk <br />3. Citizen Comments: None <br />4. Additional Agenda Information: None <br />S. Presentations/Introductions <br />Chief Meyer presented retirement shadow boxes to retiring firefighters Scott Drotning and <br />Mark Kartak. <br />Marissa Streifel of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture presented information and a <br />proposed plan to treat and eradicate a reproducing gypsy moth population in the City of <br />Lakeville. The proposed treatment area consists of approximately 133 acres in northwest <br />Lakeville near Judicial Road. Information will be provided directly from the Minnesota <br />Department of Agriculture to the residents who live in the treatment area. Council <br />members asked that the City's Communications Department also provide information to <br />the residents. <br />Mr. Normandin presented the Public Works 2018 fourth quarter report. <br />6.
