CITY OF LAKEVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />May 6, 2019 <br />Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City <br />Hall. After a moment of silence, the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was given. <br />Members Present: Mayor Anderson, Council Members Volk, Wheeler, Hellier and Lee <br />Staff Present: Justin Miller, City Administrator; Andrea McDowell-Poehler, City Attorney; <br />Jeff Long, Police Chief, Paul Oehme, Public Works Director; David Olson, Community & <br />Economic Development Director; John Hennen, Parks & Recreation Director; Daryl Morey, <br />Planning Director; Charlene Friedges, City Clerk <br />3. Citizen Comments: None <br />4. Additional Agenda Information: Mr. Miller provided a revised cover report and Event <br />Summary for Item 6g. At the request of City staff, he asked the Council to remove Item 6u <br />from the consent agenda. <br />5. Presentations/Introductions <br />Kurt Weidner, representing Allina Health Systems, presented lifesaver awards to several <br />Lifetime Fitness employees, members of the Lakeville fire and police departments and two <br />Allina paramedics. These individuals were recognized for their efforts in reviving a person <br />suffering from cardiac arrest. The patient, Robert Todorovich, expressed his gratitude to all <br />who responded. <br />John Hennen presented the Parks & Recreation Department quarterly report. <br />6. Consent Agenda <br />Council members removed Item 6u from the consent agenda. <br />Motion was made by Hellier, seconded by Wheeler, to approve the following: <br />a. Check register review <br />b. Minutes of the April 15, 2019 City Council meeting <br />c. Minutes of the April 22, 2019 special City Council meeting <br />d. Minutes of the April 22, 2019 City Council work session <br />e. Resolution No. 19-50 authorizing continued participation in the Dakota County <br />Community Development Block Grant Program <br />
