CITY OF LAKEVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />August 5, 2019 <br />Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City <br />Hall. After a moment of silence, the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was given. <br />Members Present: Mayor Anderson, Council Members Volk, Wheeler, Hellier and Lee <br />Staff Present: Justin Miller, City Administrator; Andrea McDowell Poehler, City Attorney; <br />Jeff Long, Police Chief, Paul Oehme, Public Works Director; David Olson, Community & <br />Economic Development Director; John Hennen, Parks & Recreation Director; Daryl Morey, <br />Planning Director; Charlene Friedges, City Clerk <br />3. Citizen Comments: None <br />4. Additional Agenda Information: None <br />5. Presentations/Introductions: <br />Miss Lakeville Anna Tipka and the 2019-2020 Miss Lakeville Royalty introduced themselves. <br />Mayor Anderson recognized Kristen Babcock, who organizes the Miss Lakeville Scholarship <br />Pageant. <br />Chief Meyer presented the Fire Department mid -year report; and John Hennen presented <br />the Parks & Recreation Department quarterly report. <br />6. Consent Agenda <br />Motion was made by Hellier, seconded by Wheeler, to approve the following: <br />a. Check register review 7/17/19 and 7/31/19 <br />b. Minutes of the July 15, 2019 City Council meeting <br />c. Minutes of the July 22, 2019 City Council work session <br />d. Resolution No. 19-78 amending cellular telephones policy <br />e. Resolution No. 19-79 approving special assessment agreement for curb stop repair at <br />17775 Ketchikan Trail <br />f. School Resource Officer Agreement with Independent School District 194 <br />g. Resolution No. 19-80 accepting donations to the Parks & Recreation Department <br />
