CITY OF LAKEVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />September 16, 2019 <br />Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City <br />Hall. After a moment of silence, the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was given. <br />Members Present: Mayor Anderson, Council Members Volk, Wheeler, Hellier and Lee <br />Staff Present: Justin Miller, City Administrator; Andrea McDowell Poehler, City Attorney; <br />Jeff Long, Police Chief; Paul Oehme, Public Works Director; David Olson, Community & <br />Economic Development Director; Jerilyn Erickson, Finance Director; John Hennen, Parks & <br />Recreation Director; Charlene Friedges, City Clerk <br />3. Citizen Comments: <br />Chris Erickson, 18971 Inlet Road, spoke on behalf of InterFaith Creation Care South Metro, <br />representing 13 different faith communities in the south metro area. He invited the mayor <br />and council members to attend a free screening of Paris to Pittsburgh, a National <br />Geographic film, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lakeville. <br />Howard Schneider, 19634 Jersey Avenue, invited citizens to participate in the 2019 Tour of <br />Lakeville bicycle ride on Saturday, September 21. <br />Earl Leidner,10095161st Street, had questions about the drainage system in his <br />neighborhood and work being completed by the street reconstruction contractor. Mayor <br />Anderson referred the matter to the Public Works Director. <br />4. Additional Agenda Information: None <br />S. Presentations/Introductions: <br />Mr. Olson provided information on Manufacturers Week and asked the City Council to <br />proclaim October 1-7 Manufacturers Week in the City of Lakeville. An appreciation <br />reception recognizing local manufacturers will be held on Tuesday, October 1 St. Council <br />Member Lee read the Manufacturers Week proclamation. <br />Mayor Anderson recognized Mr. Olson and the Economic Development Department on <br />the receipt of a St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce Leaders in Local Government Award <br />for the City's QA1 Precision Products tax increment financing project. <br />6.
